Conversation Salons by Smedegaard: A powerful concept for managers looking for inspiration and sparring in a safe environment among peers
The concept is enspired by European Golden age (Early 1800's) when academics, scientists, politicians and artists would meet in private homes of the elite to discuss issues of importance and commong interest.
In our interpretation we invite 8-10 professional leaders with a common interest in a broad set of defined topics. We come together for 4 sessions, each time meeting around our dining room table in Espergærde to discuss 2-3 specific topics for 2-3 hours. Marianne and Lars facilitate the discussion but the content is owned by the participants.
There are no powerpoint presentation, no minutes and no common coclusions - the important take away is the discussion it self.

After the discussions there is a light stand-up meal with a glass of wine to socialize a bit less formal with other participants.

There are rules of engagement that we all subscribe to:
The meeting is analogue, no computers or mobile phones
We all respect the confidentiality of personal inputs contributed by fellow participants
We listen with the intent to understand and speak with the intent deepen understanding and contribute our opinion
